Obama Town Hall in Raleigh Today!

Obama will conduct a town hall meeting Tuesday, August 19 at 6:30 pm in the Exposition Center at the NC State Fairgrounds. The focus of the event will be the economy, specifically economic security since the unemployment rate in NC has hit a five year high.

NC is leaning ever so slightly red, but the Obama campaign is devoting incredible manpower in an effort to make NC blue in November for the first time since 1976.

Tuesday’s event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.  A limited number of tickets are available.  There is a limit of two tickets per adult and one ticket for people under 16. You can pick up free tickets at the following locations beginning Monday, August 18th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, or until tickets are no longer available.

Additionally, about 50 veterans, a part of Veterans for Obama, showed their support for the presidential candidate at 1:00 Saturday, August 16 at the downtown Raleigh headquarters.
